people and trains

some people are just unknoldgeable on trains. i got a comment saying'' railroads are fun to ski down in summer.'' that sounded both wierd and disrespectful to railroads i want true comments.

bad idea

I was thinking yesterday bringing in new trains for SEPTA is a bad idea. If you are goin g to get a new train every year why not just use the old ones? Thats wasteing money and time. You got to make trains for transportation not style.

I heard about the new septa trains . They have different parts from different countries. Here are the parts and the country they came from.

body/frame- Korea

engin- Japan

computers/electric- Germany, Canada

I cant wait to see and ride them!

well work

i'm amazed by the commitment of the restorers fixing up the trains made years ago. thats a good thing for people who like trains like me. The condition will stay the same for a long time.

respect

whats a prolbem for me is the lack of respect for our railroads. the teens are graphitiing on our trains. how would you like it if you saw the santa fe super chief coverd with spray paint? I wouldent like it because it needs to be preserved for future generatations. this shows the lack of respect.

ticket prices

the cost for train tickets these days are rediculus. I Know about the economy and job cut but 80 dollors for a ticket to new york from philly is alot. And theres no luxery from my experence. unlike in the 1920's when they let you eat and gave you a place to sleep . the goverment just focuses on the war, healthcare and polotics they have no time to think about there citizens.
